Hoops Capital's Aussies to host China in July

Basketball Australia announced on Thursday a major international series featuring Australia’s top teams against China and Japan at John Cain Arena from July 2-5.
Over four nights in July, the Boomers - featuring numerous current and former Kings - Opals (headlined by Flames' Tess Madgen, Cayla George and Lauren Nicholson), Rollers, Gliders and 3x3 Gangurrus men and women’s teams will come together for a massive series in preparation for the Paris 2024 Olympics and Paralympics.

Both the Boomers and Opals will battle Team China offering a prime opportunity for audiences to see Australia’s best players on home soil.
Australia’s 3x3 Gangurrus, the current FIBA Asia Cup Champions, will play against the might of Team China.
Australia’s wheelchair stars will face Japan with the Gliders and Rollers alternating across the schedule.
“Australia is a global powerhouse in basketball, to have all our national teams in Melbourne playing at the same venue is a win for fans," said Basketball Australia CEO, Matt Scriven.

The Boomers play China on July 2 and 4, with the Opals taking the court against the same nation on July 3 and 5.
