The Australian Boomers, headlined by Sydney Kings pair Dejan Vasiljevic and Jaylin Galloway, are just one win away from booking their spot at next year's FIBA World Cup.
Standing in the way of the Boomers, playing without the injured Xavier Cooks, this window is Kazakhstan, who the green and gold will battle on November 11 at Republican Velodrome Saryarka.
“When you play with a great teammate like X at the Kings, you just want to keep it rolling with the Boomers," Vasiljevic said.

"However due to X going down against New Zealand, I’m proud that JG was X’s replacement for the green and gold.
"He’s been hooping these last few weeks and I can’t wait for the both of us to put on the green and gold, represent our country with pride, but also play for our Kings brother in Xavier Cooks.
"In saying that, I'm also looking forward to lining up with some of the other great guys around the league as well as being coached by one of the top coaches going around in Mike Kelly - it's going to be a tremendous experience I'm sure.
"Having the chance to travel to Kazakhstan, a place I've never been before, on one of these Boomers trips is going to be unreal as it gives us a chance to bond with other Boomers players you wouldn't necessarily get the chance to play with."
The Freeway Series returns to Qudos Bank Arena for Game 2. The Kings lost the Adrian Hurley Cup in the last round of the 21-22 regular season, but will they bring it back home this season?

Miami University alum, who's been involved in two of the Boomers' eight wins during their 2023 FIBA Asia World Cup Qualifiers, knows how special it will be to secure the country's spot at the August 25 to September 10 tournament in Indonesia, Japan and the Philippines.
"There's obviously that little bit more incentive in this occasion's trip, as we're just one spot away from booking our World Cup spot," the Melbourne product said.
"With only three more games to play after this window, we're also keen to keep that unbeaten record intact and make the whole country proud of this team."
