Stars from across the sports world were on and off the court last night at Qudos Bank Arena in our home opener in a win over Melbourne United.
On the court, the Kings debuted the three-headed import trio of Jaylen Adams, RJ Hunter and Jarell Martin. While Matthew Dellavedova made his NBL debut with Melbourne United.
But in the crowd of over eight thousand, it was a who’s who of sports stars. Including tennis superstar Nick Kyrgios, who sat courtside wearing our Biwali Bayles’ jersey.

Other athletes included Sydney Swans defender Jake Lloyd, South Sydney Rabbitohs fullback Cody Walker, retired Australian netball star Catherine Cox, former boxer and rugby league player Anthony Mundine, A-League Men’s Sydney FC striker Adam LeFondre and teammate Miloš Ninkovic.
Non-athlete stars included rapper MC Bliss (Jonathan Notley), Studio 10 host Sarah Harris, TV presenter Tristan MacManus, actor Brendan Cowell and NSW Minister for Sport Natalie Ward.
