Potential placings and opponents for Kings in post-season

Heading into the final round of the season, the Sydney Kings can finish either third, fourth or fifth on the ladder - depending on their and other team's results.
If they lose Friday's Freeway Series clash with Illawarra at the WIN Entertainment Centre, the Hoops Capital side will finish the regular season fifth and will host a sudden-death play-on qualifier next in Sydney - against either Adelaide, Tasmania or Brisbane.
But if Brian Goorjian's side is victorious over their Adrian Hurley Cup opponents, they can finish either third, fourth or fifth, depending on the results of the Perth and Adelaide fixture at RAC Arena and Throwdown between Melbourne and South East Melbourne on Saturday.

By finishing third, the purple and gold side will host a one-game play-in seeding qualifier game against fourth, with the victor progressing to take on second in a three-game playoff series.
The loser of the seeding qualifier will host the winner of the play-in qualifier (fifth vs sixth).
If the Kings finish third or fifth and host the play-in seeding qualifier/play-in qualifier, it would be played in Sydney between Tuesday and Friday.
The date of these fixtures will be confirmed on Saturday night, as the completion of the regular season.
Regardless of which day the Kings host a final, tickets for that fixture will go on sale on Monday, February 10.
Kings members have the first opportunity at tickets with their dedicated pre-sales (with full-season same-seat at 8am and other members pre-sale from 12pm).
General public tickets will then go on sale at 2pm on February 10.
