Kings set to bounce back at home

Sunday's home court will prove crucial to the series.
Our Sydney Kings will be determined to bounce back quickly at Qudos Bank Arena on Sunday after being beaten on the buzzer in game two of the Championship Series.
The Kings were set to take a 2-0 lead in the best of five series before Adelaide MVP Bryce Cotton produced a miracle layup with 01 seconds left to give the 36ers a 91-89 victory at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre on Friday night.
A missed basket from Kings superstar Kendric Davis with five seconds left saw Cotton make the fast break to sink the hearts of Sydney in a fiery finish.
The Kings took a nine-point lead into the final quarter but a series of errors and missed baskets saw Adelaide outscore Sydney 23-12. Cotton finished the game with 28 points and six assists.
Davis finished with 20 points and six assists ahead of Xavier Cooks with 18 points and 10 rebounds.
Sydney’s Torrey Craig registered 17 points and 10 rebounds in a fine performance in his 100th NBL game.
The heart-breaking loss ended an incredible 14-game winning streak for the Kings.
From the outset, experienced Kings guard Matthew Dellavedova applied heavy pressure on Cotton just like he did superbly in game one as the Kings took a 30-25 lead.
The 36ers started the second term strongly through some great play from John Jenkins to get out to a seven-point lead before the Kings quickly turned things around through some fast transitions.
Adelaide took a 53-52 lead at the main break on the back of 28 points in the second term. Craig finished the first half with 17 points and seven rebounds ahead of Davis with 12 points.
The Kings pounced on some bad turnovers from Adelaide to put on 10 points in the first three minutes of the third quarter as Sydney started to wear the home side down.
The hard work paid off with Sydney piling on 25 points to take a 77-68 lead heading into the final quarter. Craig and Davis finished the third with 17 points each with Craig leading the way with nine rebounds.
Cotton then found his groove in the fourth quarter with 15 points to single handedly get the 36ers back level before delivering the final blow to the Kings.
Game three tips off at 2.30pm on Sunday. More than 15,000 tickets have already been sold for the match, guaranteeing another parochial home Sydney crowd.
