NBL1 North honours for Kings quartet

Four Sydney Kings were acknowledged for their exceptional NBL1 North seasons on the court, during Monday night's annual awards evening.
2022 NBL1 North MVP Kouat Noi, who is averaging 29.33 points, 10.60 rebounds and 2.20 assists a game for USC Rip City, was named to another NBL1 North First Team - alongside Gold Coast's Jason Cadee (who took out the 2023 MVP trophy) and Todd Blacnhfield, Mackay's Isaac White and Logan's Majok Deng.

While Logan's Shaun Bruce (16.11 points, 8.39 assists and six rebounds), Ipswich's Jaylin Galloway (18.56 points, 5.56 boards and 2.63 dimes) and Darwin's Makuach Maluach (23.05 points, 8.74 rebounds and 3.42 assists) were selected in the NBL1 North Second-Team - with Force's Nathan Sobey and Cairns' Tad Dufelmeier rounding out the squad.
This was one of two awards for Galloway, who is fresh off an NBA Summer League stint with Minnesota, with the wing also being named the Youth Player of the Year.
