The Sydney Kings are the first side to be mathematically assured to take part in the Hungry Jack's NBL Finals Series this season following the results of round 15 so far.
Sydney currently sits top of the NBL23 standings with 17 wins for the season so far.
Following their victory over local rivals Illawarra, the Kings are on a run of six straight wins.

Although the Kings are assured of playing finals basketball this season the new play-in format means they’re not yet certain to reach the semi-finals.
The sides who finish in the top two at the end of the regular season will immediately earn a place in the final four while teams three through six will fight it out for the two remaining places in the play-in.
Just two more home games left this Summer ☀️🏀
