As his side heads into the final round of the NBL25 regular season, Sydney Kings coach Brian Goorjian is excited about the possibilities of his group.
With a 16-12 record, the Hoops Capital side is right in the mix for semi-final contention and Goorjian believes his team continue to make progress towards achieving the ultimate goal.
"A lot has been said about our group ever since it was assembled and how we've progressed throughout the season," Goorjian said in an interview with The Big Sports Breakfast.
"Apart from two, we've been right in every game we've played, showing the fight and hunger these guys have.
"To that, I'm really excited about this team and what they can achieve not only this season but moving forward.
"The development of all our players has been great and I feel the best is yet to come for all of our guys."
The harbour city side's next chance to prove that comes on Friday when they travel to the WIN Entertainment Centre to take on Illawarra from 7.30pm AEDT.
"In our minds, it's a playoff game," Goorjian said.

"We still have a chance of finishing third on the ladder, so it's up to us to make the most of this opportunity.
"We've had a big week of training and film and will be ready come Friday night."
The round 20 Freeway Series clash will be broadcast live on ESPN.
