The Sydney Comets will have a distinct Kings flavour in 2023 after Archie Woodhill recently penned a deal with the NBL1 East club.
This will see the big man will team up with fellow Sydney development player Iggy Mitchell at the Comets next season.
"They're a new team within the NBL1 and I wanted to play with teammates that would complement my playing style," Woodhill said.

"I love training and being involved with Iggy - he’s a great player and I’m looking forward to playing alongside him this upcoming season.
"Iggy is a reflection of the characters and culture involved with Comets, and our daily training I believe will help our connection on and off the court, also in bonding greater with a new team.
"I'm also very excited to have [former Kings assistant] Lachie Lonergan as the head coach and to be part of the Comets organisation.
"Ben Madgen was incredible in understanding my goals with the upcoming NBL1 season, and I am looking forward to gaining insight from him.
The North Sydney product joins the Comets after playing with Sutherland in 2022 - a campaign in which he helped the Sharks reach the NBL1 East Finals.
"Throughout my season at Sutherland in my last season for NBL1 I really enjoyed the camaraderie and teamwork among the guys and coaching staff," he said.
"This made the games and training really enjoyable.
"Individually I felt I had a really good season despite getting injured before finals, which wasn’t the ideal end for our season."

Before he joins the green and gold, the 21-year-old will be out to help the Kings defend their NBL crown, during his second stint with the Hoops Capital club.
"I absolutely love being back [with the Kings]," he said.
"It’s an incredible culture in the organisation and I’m so grateful to be a part of it again.
"The coaching staff has been amazing in supporting me and my journey, along with seeing their support for the entire team.
"The level of coaching at every training also paired with the quality of players has been the reason for the improvements in my game."
The Comets will start their NBL1 East assault at home against Penrith on Saturday, March 11.
"Personally, I am looking to showcase my development and abilities on the court from training this season with the Kings," he said.
"I hope to maintain a connection and potentially re-sign with the Kings in the following season.
"Team goals for the 2023 NBL1 season are to firstly build strong teamwork and connections, to play a great style of basketball, and hopefully win the East division."
Woodhill and his Kings next play Tasmania on Friday at Qudos Bank Arena, with tickets available here.
