It was a winning type of week for our Kings in the NBL1.
On the weekend in the North conference, Kings teammates Jaylin Galloway and Biwali Bayles highlighted once again their teamwork as they took home a win for the Mackay Meteors.
Galloway had a strong game, dropping 10 points, 6 rebound, and two assists, while Bayles dominated the court once again delivering 31 points, 12 rebounds, and seven assists. Combining their efforts on the court, they lead their team to victory against the USC Rip City, 99 – 83.
New Kings signing Kouat Noi was sensational for Rip City with 31 points and13 rebounds. Noi was also huge in a big win for Rip City over Rockhampton on Friday night with 31 points and a massive 20 rebounds.
Unfortunately for Jordan Hunter and his team, the North Gold Coast Seahawks, they couldn’t get a win over the line against the Darwin Salties. However, Hunter did put in his efforts for his team scoring 8 points, and five rebounds and throwing down this huge dunk.

Over in New Zealand, Xavier Cooks has been playing with the Wellington Saints alongside his ex-teammate of the Kings, Tom Vodanovich. Cooks had a great game scoring 20 points, 10 rebounds, and one assist, which helped lead his team to success on Sunday.
