ESPN draft expert Jonathan Givony has released his latest 2024 NBA Mock Draft, and six of the seven draft-eligible Next Stars, including Sydney's Alex Toohey, are featured throughout the 58 selections.
Alexandre Sarr’s status as a top-three selection has continued to be hammered home.
Where The Athletic’s Sam Vecenie had the Wildcats big ranked top of the class, Givony has him ranked second behind the top-ranked collegiate recruit of this draft class, Isaiah Collier.
Bobi Klintman is firming as a top 20 selection, as opposed to a late first-round selection.

He elected to withdraw from last year’s draft, where he was initially projected to be selected in the second round of the 2023 Draft before he reneged and entered the Next Stars program.
He has been listed at pick 17 in ESPN’s latest mock.
Four Next Stars have been touted as late second-round selections, with the group of Alex Toohey, Ariel Hukporti, Trentyn Flowers and AJ Johnson headlined by the continued rise of Toohey, who Givony now has being selected with the 48th pick.

The draft expert had the Kings Next Star ranked as the 83rd best player in the class in his prior mock draft, and the continued rise of the Centre of Excellence graduate has coincided with reports he could consider entering the upcoming draft as opposed to his initial plan of 2025.
Hukporti’s impressive return from an Achilles injury in NBL24 has seen him surge back into draft calculations after being unranked by a number of projections prior to the commencement of the new season.
Givony has the German center at 53, while Adelaide’s Tretyn Flowers has been projected 54th.
Illawarra’s AJ Johnson has been ranked 56th.
Mantas Rubstavicius returned from injury in Thursday night’s win over Adelaide for New Zealand, and although he is currently not ranked in Givony’s top selections, the draft guru ranked him just outside the top talents in his mock draft. The Lithuanian wing is currently ranked 87th on the list of best available players.
Rocco Zikarsky is not draft eligible until 2025.
