Get excited Kings fans, the Kings are coming home!
The Hungry Jack’s NBL will make its long-awaited return to Sydney in round five of NBL21 with the league announcing today that the Brydens Lawyers Sydney Kings will host not one, but two home games at Qudos Bank Arena.
After eleven long months, Sydney fans will be treated to a blockbuster home game double-header when the Kings take on the NZ Breakers at 7.30pm on Friday February 12, before hitting the court again at 3pm on Sunday February 14 to face our cross-state rivals, The Hawks.
Sydney Kings CEO Chris Pongrass said: “We are thrilled for Kings fans to be able to bring basketball back to Sydney.
“It’s been nearly a year since we last had our members and fans through the doors at Qudos Bank Arena and we appreciate their patience while we navigated the last few months of lockdowns, changing schedules, and travel restrictions.”
“Our playing group have been on the road since Christmas and have missed having the support of our home crowd. It is welcomed news that the team will have time to re-fresh back at home before they jump on the road again” Pongrass shared.
“Thanks must also go to NSW Health, NSW Office of Sport, our venue partner Qudos Bank Arena and the NBL who have worked with us and remained flexible in our approach to resume games in Sydney”.
As has been previously communicated, due to NSW Health regulations, crowd limits, adjusted seating plans, and conditions of entry will be in place to ensure social distancing and COVID safe protocols are adhered to at Qudos Bank Arena. This information will be confirmed closer to the games as we continue to work through details and advice from NSW Health and the venue.
As our crowd capacity for this game will be limited, it’s important to remind all fans that becoming a Kings member is the only way to guarantee the best seats in the venue. You can browse our membership packages here.
Tickets will be limited and Kings members will receive first priority, however for those who are looking to get their hands on some tickets, save the date and time below in your calendar now.
Round five tickets on sale: 12.00pm, Friday February 5, 2021

Corporate hospitality is also available at a limited capacity, for all enquiries please click here.
“Due to the limited crowd capacity, our members and partners will receive priority access to these games with all full season members guaranteed access, and partial (7 and 3-game) members provided with a redemption window prior to the general public on-sale” Pongrass confirmed.
“Our members and corporates are the lifeblood of our Club and we would not have achieved the success and growth that we have in recent years without their support.”
If you’ve been considering becoming a member, the good news is that membership prices have also been slashed from last season. Kings members also enjoy savings of up to 68% on tickets per game plus loads of other exclusive benefits. You can check out our membership prices, here.
Don’t forget, memberships are fully transferrable if you don’t think you are able to attend every game, otherwise we also have part-season packages available. Full season and part-season memberships (7-game and 3-game) can be purchased here.
