Sydney tunes up for bumper double-header

Fans will get a chance to experience double the action and double the fun for half the cost, when Sydney hosts its first of four Kings and Flames double-headers on December 4.
The Sunday hoops extravaganza at Qudos Bank Arena will tip-off at 2pm with the Kings' round nine showdown with the Adelaide 36ers before the Flames play their first match in Sydney for WNBL23 against the Bendigo Spirit.
This is the first of four double-headers slated for this season, with the following three scheduled for December 30, January 15 and January 29.

"We're really excited to be able to host four double-headers for our loyal fans, highlighting our two teams, one club philosophy," said Hoops Capital CEO Sean Nicholls.
"It'll give all our supporters a chance to watch top-quality men's and women's basketball in one spot and continue to grow our great sport.
"This is an initiative we started last year to great effect and want to continue to build on for years to come, as we become the hoops capital of Australia."
The December 4 clash will also mark the WNBL's Fighting Period Poverty Round, which will see numerous activations staged at Qudos Bank Arena on the day - including inviting fans to bring in and donate period products as part of Share the Dignity’s annual ‘It’s In The Bag’ campaign.
