Australian-owned menswear brand M.J. Bale has partnered with iconic Australian NBL basketball team the Sydney Kings to become their official tailor.
B Corp-certified M.J. Bale, who has over 80 stores throughout Australia, will dress the Sydney Kings playing squad, coaches, and company officials in impeccably crafted off-court tailoring.
“I know basketball players,” Sydney Kings head coach Brian Goorjian said.

“They have egos, and they care about how they look. In M.J. Bale suits, it’s about as good as gets.”
Sydney Kings CEO Chris Pongrass echoed Goorjian's sentiments.
“We’re really excited about this partnership,” Pongrass said.
“Fashion and basketball go hand-in-hand, and I think the brand values of both companies are really aligned.
"M.J. Bale is a great mix of fashion, high-end quality, and durability.
"Our players are excited to have something tailored just for them and are looking forward to wearing them with pride throughout the season.”

The campaign to launch the partnership features players Cameron Oliver, Bul Kuol, Jaylin Galloway, and Henry Lau wearing woven-in-Italy velvet jackets and wool-linen, linen-cotton, and cotton suits, paired with colourful knit polos, tees and crisp white shirts.
“We’re thrilled to become the Official Tailor to the Sydney Kings,” said M.J. Bale founder and CEO Matt Jensen.
“The Kings are an iconic high-performance team that plays with verve and vitality.
