Kings' NBA Summer League wrap (July 10)

A recap of all the Sydney Kings' performances in Las Vegas during the first three days of the 2023 NBA Summer League.

It's been a busy opening few days at the 2023 NBA Summer League in Las Vegas, with numerous current and former Sydney Kings shining.

Day one saw Kings' recruit DJ Hogg tally seven points, three rebounds and one steal, across 28 minutes, in Toronto's 83-74 loss to Chicago.

Elsewhere, Minnesota, featuring Jaylin Galloway and Brian Brown II, downed New Orleans 102-88 - with the latter contributing 10 points, three rebounds, one steal and one block in the victory.

While in the coaching ranks, Fleur McIntyre and Matt Nielsen's San Antonio edged Charlotte 76-68 and Will Weaver's Brooklyn fell 101-97 to Cleveland.

On day two, former King Xavier Cooks starred, to the tune of 11 points, seven boards and two dimes, as Washington lost 91-83 to Indiana - with Dejan Vasiljevic also suiting up for the Wizards.

Then Makur Maker's Philadelphia outlasted New York 110-91 at the Thomas and Mack Centre.

Finally, on day three, Hogg produced another solid showing for his Raptors - adding 11 points, four rebounds, two assists and two blocks in his side's 99-76 loss to Cleveland.

This was followed by Weaver's Nets smashing cross-town rivals, the Knicks, 98-80 and McIntyre and Nielsen's Spurs losing 85-80 to the Trailblazers.

To end day three's play in Las Vegas, neither Cooks or Vasiljevic hit the court in the Wizards' 103-98 victory against Boston.
