RJ Hunter and Makur (MK) Maker will make their much-anticipated NBL debut in Sunday’s game against reigning champions Melbourne United at Qudos Bank Arena.
As expected, Dejan Vasiljevic will miss the start of the NBL22 season.
He continues to make strides with his rehabilitation following the successful repair of his Achilles tendon.
DJ has begun the final stages of his rehab plan and has begun scrimmaging with the team.
His precise timeline for return is based on how he progresses in the next two weeks, but the club anticipates he will hit the court near Christmas.
Kings centre Jordan Hunter will also remain on the injury list due to a finger fracture sustained in practice.
He is expected to return prior to Christmas.
