Noi debuts as South Sudan defeats Morocco

South Sudan, who had King #237 Kouat Noi making his debut for the country, opened their AfroBasket 2025 Qualifiers campaign with an 82-66 win over Morocco on Friday at Dakar Arena.
It was South Sudan's sixth straight win in Africa, dating back to August 2022.

In the 16-point FIBA win in Senegal, Noi played 21.35 minutes off the bench, tallying six points (including two triples), two assists and one rebound.
King #238 Jackson Makoi also featured for the Brights Stars, adding 10 points, six boards, six dimes and two steals.
Noi's South Sudan returns to their Group A action on Saturday, going up against Mali.
