Sydney Kings assistant coach Fleur McIntyre has added more silverware to her collection by medalling at the recent under 18 Australian Championships in Brisbane.
McIntyre, who played a pivotal role in the Kings' back-to-back NBL titles, and her NSW Metro girls team - coached by Renae Garlepp - claimed the silver medal at the April 9-16 tournament.

āI feel Incredibly proud to be part of such a wonderful group, lead superbly by coach Renae Garlepp," McIntyre said.
"Making the gold medal game is always tough, especially at 18s nationals, and while we were shattered to lose the final game - the toughness of this team cannot be understated.
"Iām so proud they were able to walk away with a silver medal.
"We defied the odds in a series of close games throughout the week and it was so much fun to watch these girls compete and refuse to give in.ā

The side opened the tournament with a 95-60 win against ACT, which was followed by victories against Western Australia Metro (102-57) and Queensland South (76-67).
McIntyre's squad lost game four of the competition, going down 75-70 to South Australia Metro before rebounding to edge Victoria Country 62-60 in the final pool game - securing them second spot on the ladder heading into the knockout stage.
NSW experienced another close one in the quarter-finals, outlasting Queenaldn North 75-74 to progress to the final four.
In the semi-final, NSW overcame Victoria Metro 73-68, to set up a grand final showdown with SA Metro.
Unfortunately for the gallant NSW side, their South Australian opponents had their measure once again (76-70), to claim the gold medal by six points.
