The Sydney Kings are excited to announce a new partner, The Kraken Black Spiced Rum, has jumped on board for the NBL25 season.
Named for the Sea Beast of Myth and Legend, The Kraken is the world’s first black spiced rum and will be the Kings’ official spirits partner during the 2024-25 campaign.
Available at bottle shops nationwide, The Kraken is a fine Caribbean rum with smooth notes of ginger, cinnamon and vanilla. The colossal liquid is also available in premix cans mixed with cola, dry ginger ale and tropical Caribbean Punch.

Hoops Capital executive director Matthew Denholm is pumped to welcome the well-known rum brand into the Kings family.
“It’s fantastic to have The Kraken Black Spiced Rum onboard for the 24/25 season,” Denholm said.
“While we’re unsure the Kingdome can survive an attack from the mighty Kraken, to partner up with such a powerful mythical figure and fantastic tasting spiced rum gives our 18+ fans the perfect drink for the game.”
Kraken will be served in the Kings’ pre-game lounge and will be running some promotions during the upcoming season.
The Kings' first home game of the NBL25 is on Sunday, September 29 against NSW rivals Illawarra.
Tickets to the 2.15pm game at Qudos Bank Arena are still available here.
