With the start of NBL24 just days away, the Sydney Kings have held their first members' open training session event of the season.
More than 300 members turned up to the Auburn Basketball Centre to watch Mahmoud Abdelfatth's side finalise preparations for their season-opener against the Illawarra Hawks at the WIN Entertainment Centre on Saturday, September 30 from 8pm AEST.

"Our loyal members are the heartbeat of our great club and these events, allowing members behind-the-scenes access to the Kings, is another important way for us to connect to the Greater Sydney community," Hoops Capital executive director Paul Kind said.
"I know all the players appreciated the strong turnout and we can't wait to see everyone at our first home game at Qudos Bank Arena on Sunday, October 8 against Adelaide."
Tickets to that home opener, in which will see the players presented NBL23 championship rings and the club's fifth banner unveiled, are still available here.
