The Sydney Kings are now just two wins away from qualifying for their second-straight championship grand final series.
Standing in their of achieving that is the Cairns Taipans, who qualified from the Playoff Semi-Finals by defeating Perth in Sunday's sudden death fixture.
While Wednesday's rivals at Qudos Bank Arena have a quick turnaround, the Hoops Capital side has enjoyed a 10-day break allowing the whole squad to freshen up and be ready come the 7.30pm AEDT tip-off.

One player who that break has particularly helped is Derrick Walton Jr, who missed the club's final regular season game against Perth with a sore wrist - going on record to say 'I'm going to play',
The Michigan product is confident the extra time on the training court will be an advantage for his harbour city side.
"Our boys have been working hard the past few days and preparing to the best of our abilities, as we're all excited to display that on Wednesday," Walton Jr said.
"Our best and most consistent basketball is still in front of us and I believe it'll be special when it all comes together."
This post-season will mark the All-NBL First Team guard's first with the Kings.
"All the boys who were here last year [during the title run] have told me to expect the unexpected, as you can never script what happens in the post-season," he said.
"You just roll with the punches and make adjustments on the fly.
"If everything goes the way we want it to, I'm confident we will be successful."
