Sydney Kings big man Jordi Hunter is impressed with how his side responded to their first loss of the season, during Sunday's showdown with Brisbane.
Despite starting slow at Nissan Arena, Hunter's Hoops Capital side blew away the Bullets with a strong final three quarters, to win 102-85.
"After Friday's loss, we knew as a group there needed to be an energy shift, as we didn't play with the intensity we wanted to against Cairns," Norths Bears product Hunter said.

"Although we were getting good shots in the early part of Sunday's game, they weren't dropping, so we challenged ourselves to take it up a notch - which showed in the last three quarters, as guys went out there and made plays for one another.
"Once we got the ball rolling, it was contagious and we just kept it going, which was impressive to see."
"Obviously we have guys that are going to get us great numbers every night but I'm sure they, as we all do, enjoy it when some of the bench guys dig in and contribute, to take some of the pressure off them."

Sunday's round three fixture also marked Hunter's fifth game back on the court, after missing all of the Kings' NBL22 championship through injury.
"It was obviously a long process to get back but thanks to the great work of our physios and performance team, who were with me every step of the way, they have me out there playing as freely as I have, which is really nice and a long time coming," the 25-year-old said.
"To be honest, I'm just excited to be back out there playing alongside these great teammates again."
Sydney next takes on Adelaide this Friday night at Qudos Bank Arena, with the round four fixture tipping off at 7.30pm AEDT.
