Sydney’s best-kept secret officially launches for corporate, creative and public events with Hoops Capital East - the official training space for the Sydney Kings and Sydney Flames - now available for bookings.
The accessible, state-of-the-art facility, centrally located in Moore Park, is equipped with a full-size basketball court, boardroom, kitchen, and private changing rooms that completely transforms to meet a diverse range of event needs.
Originally opened in March, 2023, Hoops Capital East has hosted several creative and high-profile events including numerous NBL and media announcements (including live crosses on The Today Show), boxing matches, private functions (including the NBA 2K24 launch event), corporate retreats and events, musical concerts and has been the perfect blank canvas for photo and video shoots.

Hoops Capital’s ownership group, which includes Luc Longley and Andrew Bogut, who took part in Hoops Capital’s recent Kings Panel at the venue, have expressed their eagerness to participate and contribute to the success of events.
Last year, Kings head coach Brian Goorjian imparted his leadership style to corporate leaders during their staff development day.

Hoops Capital East’s manager Graham Brannelly has enjoyed the variety of events his facility has hosted and looks forward to adding more to that prestigious list in the future.
“Hoops Capital East is one of the most unique and versatile facilities in Sydney, shown by the amazing range of events we’ve hosted over the past three years,” Brannelly said.
“With a blend of natural light, historic framework and state-of-the-art facilities, it perfectly suits events during the day or at night, especially when you consider its central location in Moore Park.
“We look forward to hosting more incredible events at the venue in the near future.”
