The NBL22 MVP has returned to the Kings’ grounds and looking to help secure a third championship in a row.
The announcement of Jaylen Adams broke the internet on Wednesday, with the Sydney Kings bringing back the much-loved guard.
Adams mentioned the return to Sydney was an easy decision, with a mass reception awaiting his return.

“Seeing that success last year, it was a blessing and I congratulated everybody for it. But now I’m ready to be back and see what we can do,” Adams told NBL Media.
“It just feels like home, Australia in general.
“I love Australia as a place, just living there off the court, and then the fans and the support. It’s kind of hard to go somewhere else after that.”
Adams re-joins the Kings after a stint with the Quingdao Eagles in China and Crvena Zvezda in Serbia.
As well the MVP award in 2022, Adams also made the All-NBL First Team and became a popular figure amongst the Sydney faithful.
“The love that the organisation has shown me and my family is a great feeling,” he said.
“It was good reliving those moments and hopefully we can make some new moments this year.”
