Goorjian tells Kings to 'put helmets on' for United battle

Sydney Kings coach Brian Goorjian has called the recent criticism around his team’s chemistry and camaraderie as “out of whack”.
Entering the season as championship favourites, the Kings have slipped to 5-4 amid a backdrop of questions about the team’s rotation and potential player frustration.
However, ahead of tonight’s litmus test against Melbourne United, Goorjian says the frustrations are simply about not playing to their full potential.

“The frustration is about losing games and not playing as well as we should be playing,” Goorjian told SEN.
“As far as team camaraderie, the picture that’s being painted honestly is out of whack.”
Speaking to Newscorp, Goorjian declared the Kings will be ready for battle on Thursday.
“They’re talking about our imports, they’re pointing (the finger) at me, shut all of that out and put your helmets on,” he said.
Sydney faces Melbourne at 7:30pm AEDT on Thursday night, live on ESPN.
