Going into a huge round six double-header, Sydney Kings coach Brian Goorjian has admitted he is 'feeling really good' where his team is.
As it stands, his Hoops Capital side currently sit in third with a 5-2 record, made even more impressive with five of those fixtures being on the road.
"I'm really pleased about where we're sitting, as no one can take those five wins away from us regardless of how we're playing," Goorjian said.
"It's a new group and we're definitely not playing our best basketball yet but we're making really good strides.

"By far, this early part of the season, where seven of our first 10 games are on the road, is the toughest part of our schedule and one I was really nervous about heading into the season.
"But the boys have responded when they've needed to and a couple of those wins we've recorded have been through true grit and determination.
"To be sitting where we are, with five wins, including four away from home, to our name, has left me feeling really good about our group."

The harbour city side's next chance to improve on that record comes on Friday, when they once again travel to RAC Arena to battle the Perth Wildcats from 9.30pm AEDT.
"We know we're playing a desperate and talented team, regardless if Bryce [Cotton] is playing or not," the six-time NBL champion said.
"They've good great perimeter shooting, a versatile frontline and loud home crowd, which creates a tough environment to play in but we're ready for the challenge after a productive week of practice.
"We've been there earlier in the season and got the win, so we're feeling good going into Friday's game."
Two days later, the purple and gold will return to Sydney for their third home game at Qudos Bank Arena for NBL25.
"Now that all their new faces have settled in, including Matt Mooney, the Breakers are going to be a handful," Goorjian said.
"Between Mooney and Parker Jackson-Cartwright, they have one of the best and most dangerous backcourt in the league.

"And now they're past the fatigue aspects of their US trip, you're also seeing the benefits of them playing those high-level games against NBA teams, which has given their whole group plenty of confidence - which you can see on the court.
"From our perspective, with two games in three days, contributions from our whole squad, especially our bench is going to be vital.
"I'm confident our depth can withstand this quick-turnaround, especially playing in front of our amazing home fans on Sunday once again."
Tickets to Sunday's match, which tips off at 2.15pm AEDT, are still available here.
