As the weather continues to heat up, so does the play of the Sydney Kings and Sydney Flames.
While their performances at both Qudos Bank Arena and Quaycentre are sure to attract plenty of attention, the two Hoops Capital sides also provide plenty of fun activities for the whole family - including live music, dance teams, iconic photo opportunities, our energetic mascots, MCs and DJs, which will keep you entertained throughout the event.
As well as the huge amount of elite basketball games on offer, there’s also lots you can see and do while you are at Sydney Olympic Park so you can make an entire day out of it for the whole family.
From bike and walk tracks, the Brickpit ring walk, skate park, archery, the aquatic centre, and there’s even a public basketball court so you can emulate your heroes and shoot some hoops - which can all be found here.
Then once the summer school holiday arrive, from Saturday, December 16 all the way through to Sunday, January 28, the Kings and Flames host a combined 14 home games in Sydney (including three double-headers at Qudos Bank Arena), which highlight a busy schedule of activities during that period.
With family passes from just $45 and individual tickets from only $20, everyone can experience premium live entertainment all summer long.
To make the day as seamless as it can, here are transport and food/drink options for Sydney Olympic Park.
"Following on the heels of the successful FIBA Women's Asia Cup, we're excited to bring even more basketball and entertainment to the loyal fans of Sydney this summer and help grow the game even further," Hoops Capital executive director Paul Kind said.
"From our 14 game days, which include three of our four double-headers and four standalone Flames' fixtures at Quaycentre, to our numerous academy camps which will be held all across Sydney, these present the perfect summer holidays event for our Hoops Capital family.
"We can't wait to see everyone, including countless future Kings and Flames, these holidays, as the perfect family fun runs all through summer."
