SYDNEY KINGS OPENING NIGHT GAME DAY GUIDE
Fresh off Saturday's strong win against the Illawarra Hawks, in our NBL22 title defence opener, our Sydney Kings will return home to Qudos Bank Arena on Friday, October 7 for the first time this season, when they host the Brisbane Bullets.
The night, which will include the unveiling of the NBL22 championship banner and the presentation of the player's rings, marks the first time Kings fans will be able to watch new recruits Derrick Walton Jr, Justin Simon, Tim Soares, Kouat Noi and Jackson Makoi in person.

Not to mention, the evening will see Australian Boomer Aron Baynes and NBA veteran Tyler Johnson play in Sydney for the first time with their Bullets.

Full-season and seven-game member cap collection closes: 7pm
Lights out and Banner Ceremony 7.10pm
Tip-off: 7.30pm
Important things to note
- The championship banner ceremony will take place pre-game commencing with lights out at 7.10pm.
- Full Season and 7-Game Member Cap Collection will be open from 5.30pm until 7pm. We are closing cap collection early to ensure all members are in their seats before the championship banner ceremony at 7.10pm. At subsequent games, cap collection will be available until tip-off.
- Full-season and seven-game members will be able to collect their NBL23 membership caps from the collection area outside door 16 on ground level (as you enter via the members' entrance, turn left and walk about 30m).
- L-Fresh the Lion will be performing live pre-game.
- Food and beverages will be discounted by 20% from 6pm to 7pm.
- Members Bar will not be open pre-game but will be open post-game for a members-only player appearance. It will be located in the same place as last season – level one, opposite door 43.
- Large crowds are expected, so it is highly recommended you pre-book your parking or use public transport.
Member ticket information
- Membership cards are arriving in the post this week. Full season members whose membership cards do not arrive in time for the first home game can enter their details on this form and you will be emailed an ezy-ticket for tomorrow's game.
- Partial members will need to use Ticketek tickets to access the venue.
- Partial members whose membership cards do not arrive in time for the first home game can collect a temporary membership card from the Information Desk.
Things to know before you arrive:
- It is strongly advised that you arrive early as delays are expected.
- Members will be required to bring their membership card to use at the members’ entrance (if you are unable to locate your membership card or have any issues, our membership team who will be located at the box office pre-game will be able to assist with any membership-related queries).
- Please minimise the size of bags you bring to the arena – no backpacks or bags over A5 (200 mm x 150 mm) sizing will be permitted into the venue.

Food and beverages:
- Food and beverages are discounted by 20% from 6-7pm.
- Multiple food and beverage outlets will be open throughout the venue.
- The Platinum Plus Bar will be open for Platinum Plus members and ticket holders. Platinum Plus members and ticket holders will be provided with a wristband when you arrive at your seat. This will give you access to the Platinum Plus Bar.
Merchandise
- Kings merchandise is available for purchase inside the grand foyer as you enter Qudos Bank Arena. You can also head to shop.sydneykings.com.au to purchase merchandise online.
The Brewery:
- The Brewery (located under the Novotel corner of Olympic Boulevard and Dawn Fraser Ave) is open once again!
Lost membership cards and membership Inquiries
- If you are unable to locate your membership card or have any issues, our membership team who will be located at the box office pre-game will be able to assist with any membership-related queries.
Membership discounts
- Don’t forget to scan your membership card at our internal outlets to redeem your member discount on food, beverages and merchandise.
- If you don't yet have your membership card you can visit the membership inquiries window to pick up a temporary membership card.
