The NBL21 action continues at Qudos Bank Arena this weekend when the Brydens Lawyers Sydney Kings welcome back the Perth Wildcats for the first time since last years Grand Final series.
While it will be business as usual on the court, off the court the two Club’s will come together to help raise some much needed funds for the NSW Floods Appeal. Both the Wildcats and the Kings will be donating $100 for each three pointer their team scores during the game, you can find more information about how you can donate here.
Qudos Bank Arena will also be back to 100% capacity for the first time since February 2020 this weekend with NSW Health approving an exemption to this Sunday's game ahead of official changes being rolled out across NSW on Monday.
As always, Kings NBL 21 home games will be played in conjunction with NSW Health Guidelines and public health orders, NBL protocols and the Qudos Bank Arena Covid-19 Safe Plan. We ask that you read the below information as you have an important role to play in ensuring the health and safety of all patrons within the venue.

Important things to note:
- Qudos Bank Arena is now at 100% capacity - the changes officially come into play from Monday, however Qudos Bank Arena has an exception from NSW Health for 100% capacity for this weekends game against the Wildcats
- Due to the Easter Show which starts on April 1, there are several road closures already in place in Sydney Olympic Park, please leave additional travel time to get to the venue
- The Kings and Wildcats will be raising money for the GIVIT Foundation at tomorrow’s game to raise money for the NSW Floods, you can donate or find more information here
Things to know before you arrive:
- Please have your e-ticket loaded and on your mobile phone prior to arrival. If you have selected a mobile ticket please share with your friends and family in advance
- Members will be required to bring their Membership Card to use the members’ entrance (if you are unable to locate your membership card or have any issues, our membership team who will be located at the box office pre-game will be able to assist with any membership related queries)
- Due to a construction zone located outside Qudos Bank Arena the main foyer front entrance doors will not be open this weekend. Please head to the left-hand side of the main entrance (if you are facing Qudos Bank Arena) when you arrive to gain entry (the side closest to the P1 car park and ANZ stadium)
- Please stay home if you’re feeling unwell, have been in contact with a suspected or confirmed COVID-19 case in the past 14 days, or are waiting on a COVID-19 test
- If you and/or anyone in your group are a resident of a COVID-19 hotspot or have been in a COVID-19 hotspot, in the designated time periods, you will not be permitted entry into the venue at this time. For an up to date list of COVID Hot Spots please check out the NSW Government website here.
Some things mayhave changed since your last visit:
- Qudos Bank Arena is now a cash free venue – all transactions including food, drink and merchandise outlets will be cashless
- Please minimise the size of bags you bring to the arena – no backpacks or bags over A5 (200 mm x 150 mm) sizing will be permitted into the venue
- Due to COVID restrictions there is no longer a cloakroom facility available at the arena

Getting to and from Qudos Bank Arena:
- NSW Health are strongly encouraging the use of private transport to all fans
- Please note: Train travel is NOT included in your ticket for the NBL21 season. Should you need to take public transport to our games, NSW Transport requires mandatory face masks
- Parking information for Sydney Olympic Park, including pre-booking at discounted rate, can be found here (a reminder that P1 is the closest carpark to Qudos Bank Arena)

COVID safe restrictions and information:
- Unfortunately, there will be no pre-game activations in the Red Zone outside or in the Grand Foyer of Qudos Bank Arena. This is to prevent queuing and multiple people touching the same surface. These activations are an important part of the Kings home game experience and we hope to be able to bring them back as soon as possible
- Due to NBL Covid-19 protocols players will not be able to hi-five or shake hands with the fans – please advise young children
- It is strongly encouraged all patrons scan the service NSW QR code to check into Qudos Bank Arena on the way into the venue
- Please do your bit to maintain 1.5m physical distancing when entering, navigating inside, queuing and exiting Qudos Bank Arena
- Only sit in the reserved seat stipulated on your ticket
- While in the venue, please remain in your seats at all times unless buying food and beverages or using the restrooms. You’ll need to consume any food and beverages in your seat
Members lounge and food and beverages:
- Due to restrictions on people gathering in bars, the Members Q Bar will unfortunately not be open this Sunday 28th of March
- All Qudos Bank Arena customer lounge bars will also remain closed for this event
- Multiple food and beverage outlets will be open throughout the venue however seating around the concourse areas has been removed – please take your food and drink back to your seats
- The Platinum Plus Bar remains closed this weekend. This is because the walkway to the bar is within four metres of the players bench which is prevented by NBL protocols. Qudos Bank Arena are offering an express entry lane to Platinum Plus Members and ticket holders at the Northern Bar (near Door 5) and the Eastern Bar (near Door 1).
Merchandise
Merchandise has been moved back inside the venue for future games and will be set up inside the Grand Foyer as you enter Qudos Bank Arena. You can also head to shop.sydneykings.com.au to grab some merchandise online.
Kings Bar at The Brewery:
Following the success of last season, The Kings Bar at The Brewery at Novotel is back again in 2021. The Kings bar is the perfect place to meet pre-game for a bite to eat and something to drink with friends and family. After the game it’s a great venue to de-brief about the game and celebrate our wins! The Kings Bar is a partnership between the Sydney Kings and our long-standing partner, Accor at Sydney Olympic Park.
Offers for The Kings Bar:
- Kids eat free pre-game with a paying adult (must have a valid gameday ticket and/or Kings member card)
- The Kings Bar will be open after the game until late
Please note: Players will not be in attendance at the Kings Bar post-game due to the NBL COVID safety protocols.
Membership item redemption:
Full season and 7-game members will have the opportunity to collect redemption items at all home games. In order to redeem items members must present your redemption voucher. Unlike in previous seasons, membership cards will NOT be accepted in lieu of voucher.
