Galloway shortlisted for NBL24 award

Rising star Jaylin Galloway is the lone Sydney King shortlisted for any of the six major prizes that will be presented at Monday night's Andrew Gaze MVP Awards at Melbourn's CIEL The Venue.
The two-time NBL champion is one of three players in the running for the Most Improved Award, alongside Tasmania's Sean Macdonald and Brisbane's Tyrell Harrison.
Perth's Bryce Cotton, Melbourne's Chris Goulding and New Zealand's Parker Jackson-Cartwright are all shortlisted for the night's top gong, the NBL’s Most Valuable Player (MVP) award.

Elsewhere, the Lindsay Gaze Coach of the Year will go to either Melbourne's Dean Vickerman, Illawarra's Justin Tatum or Perth's John Rillie, while Tasmania duo Sean Macdonald and Will Magnay are up for the Sixth Man of the Year alongside United's Ian Clark.
The NBL24 Damian Martin Trophy for the Best Defensive Player will go to either Brisbane's Sam McDaniel, Melbourne's Shea Ili and Tasmania's Will Magnay and Perth's Alexandre Sarr, Melbourne's Luke Travers and Illawarra's Sam Froling are in the mix for the Next Generation Award.
The All-NBL First Team, All-NBL Second Team, Executive of the Year, Referee of the Year presented by Europcar, Gametime by Kmart Award and Fans’ MVP presented by Chemist Warehouse will also be announced tonight.

Coaches and captains from all 10 teams, and a panel of experts, voted for the MVP, while the head coach, assistant coach and captain of each team voted for the Coach of the Year, Sixth Man of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, Most Improved Player, Next Generation Award and All-NBL Teams.
Head coaches, the NBL Head of Referees, and Referee Panel voted for the Referee of the Year.
Fans can stream the awards night via the NBL app and website at 7:30pm AEDT Monday.
