Galloway leads Force to pair of NBL1 North victories

Sydney's young gun Jaylin Galloway continued to shine for Ipswich in the NBL1 North competition by leading the Force to a pair of impressive round 11 wins.
The 20-year-old first tallied 16 points, seven rebounds and three steals as the Force defeated Rockhampton 100-85 at Bravus Arena.
Twenty-four hours later, Ipswich claimed another scalp on the road, this time downing Mackay 119-114 in overtime, with Galloway adding 10 points, five rebounds, two assists and one steal in the triumph.
The third-placed Force, who have a 10-3 record, next play Cairns on Sunday at JBS Stadium.
Elsewhere, Kouat Noi and his USC Rip City outfit split their two matches in round 11.
On Saturday, Noi contributed 19 points (including two late free-throws), nine rebounds, one assist and one steal in USC's 86-85 win against Northside.
But they followed this up with an 89-80 loss to Southern Districts, in which Noi had 16 points, six boards, two dimes and one steal.
USC is on the road again next weekend, travelling to Maroochydore Stadium to take on the Sunshine Coast.

The other King to hit the hardwood in Queensland over the weekend was Makuach Maluach.
His Salties had a road triple-header against Gold Coast, South West Metro and North Gold Coast, where they lost all three encounters.
Across the three defeats, Maluach averaged 26 points, 11.3 rebounds, three assists and 1.3 steals per game.
Darwin has the bye in round 12.
Moving to NBL1 West and Zac Gattorna's 17 points and five rebounds helped Geraldton overcome Joondalup 74-67.
Gattorna's Buccs next face the Eastern Suns on the road.
Shifting to the Sydney Flames part of Hoops Capital and Emma Clarke dominated for the Perry Lakes Hawks in NBL1 West.
The Flames wing put up 28 points, 10 rebounds, six assists and one steal in the Hawks' big 104-56 win against the Perth Redbacks.
The Hawks travel to Eaton Rec Centre in round 12 to face the South West Slammers.

To Victoria and Kiera Rowe's 20 points, four rebounds, two steals, one assist and one block steered Knox to a 79-68 triumph against Nunawading.
The Raiders will look to build on that win when they host Keilor next weekend.
Shifting to Queensland and Indiah Bowyer had 11 points, four rebounds, two assists and two steals as Townsville edged Sunshine Coast 78-67.
The Flames next battle Mackay on Saturday.
While Lilly Rotunno's Red City suffered another two defeats, going down 71-58 to Brisbane and 82-74 to South West Metro.
Across the two fixtures, Rotunno averaged 11.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, four dimes and 1.5 steals.
The Roar will host Cairns on Friday night.
