The interest in not only the Kings but Sydney basketball shows no signs of slowing down, after another record-breaking crowd at Qudos Bank Arena on Sunday.
During the Hoops Capital side's nine-point banner game win against Adelaide, 14,029 fans attended the round two fixture - marking the biggest standalone home-opening crowd in NBL history.
That incredible figure was also the largest-ever crowd to witness an NBL fixture between Sydney and Adelaide - a rivalry that spans 105 matches.
Not only that but the crowd figure also represents the eighth-largest home crowd in Sydney Kings' history and the 10th largest crowd of all time (home or away) to watch a Kings game.

This extraordinary crowd takes the average attendance over the past 12 games at Qudos Bank Arena to 12,766 fans - including back-to-back sellouts in games three and five of the NBL23 championships series against New Zealand.
"The crowd was once again unbelievable on Sunday and it reiterated why our fans are the best in the league," said Hoops Capital executive director Paul Kind.
"The energy inside Qudos Bank Arena is second to none and I know how appreciated all our players and coaches are of it - the crowd really is their sixth man out of the court.
"Banner game was a brilliant way to start our new campaign and I can't wait to keep building on it moving forward, starting from this Sunday against the Wildcats."

Analysis of ticket sales for the Sunday' October 9 fixture reveals the growth of Kings' crowds has come through the rise in the number of boys and girls attending games with their families - with 67 per cent of attendees (9,399) coming in on a family or junior ticket.
“Anecdotally, we understand that many parents are coming along because their children have shown interest in basketball through either playing or watching or gaming and they want to support their children's interests and combine it to make a great family day out," Kind said.
"We work hard to make it affordable for families to come along and we put a lot of emphasis on the game day presentation to make sure children of all ages are entertained.
"We meet so many families who come along to a game after hearing about it from friends, who are then blown away by the game day experience and then can’t wait to get along to more games.
"There are not many family events where all members of the family are equally entertained like at the Kings."
Mahmoud Abdelfattah's side hopes to continue that amazing crowd streak when they host Perth on Sunday, October 15 from 3.45pm - with tickets still available here.
