With just two away games remaining and the top spot locked in, the Sydney Kings' primary focus is continuing their momentum all the way through to the post-season - especially after two strong wins in round 17.

"It’s always important to keep building," Kings big man Jordi Hunter said.

"We’ve laid a great foundation, so now’s the time to hone in on what helps us win.

"We want to carry momentum with us into the finals."

The first of those two round 18 fixtures is on Friday when the Hoops Capital side takes on the 36ers at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre.

"Teams are desperate this time of year and Adelaide will be no exception," the Norths Bears product, who is averaging 6.12 points (55 per cent shooting from the field) and 3.5 rebounds in NBL23.

"We have to play like our backs are against the wall to match their energy.

"That will go a long way to getting it done."

Hunter is also making the most of the harbour city side's championship tilt, after being sidelined through injury during the franchise's fourth title in NBL22.

"It’s been unreal being out there," the 26-year-old said.

"I’m grateful to our coaches, physios and performance staff for keeping me in one piece and feeling great as we stare down the barrel of finals."

The round 18 fixture will be broadcast on ESPN via Kayo Sports and Foxtel from 7.30pm AEDT.

Following that match and Sunday's game at Perth, the reigning champions' Hungry Jack's NBL Finals Series is slated to run from February 15-20 (TBC) - with the harbour city side locked in to host series two of the playoffs, taking on the winner of the sudden death play-in game.

To ensure you don't miss any of the action at Qudos Bank Arena, from 9am, Sunday, February 5, full-season members will first be offered the chance to purchase their same seats (with this pre-sale ending at 7am Tuesday, February 7).

Then from 11am on February 7, all Kings members including partial season members will be able to purchase all other remaining tickets.

From 4pm Tuesday, February 7, the general public will be able to access the remaining tickets for the Kings' finals charge.
