The schedule features a strong run of family-friendly timeslots, regional games, school holiday basketball and some of the biggest home games in Australian sport, headlined by our Championship Banner Raising at Qudos Bank Arena (soon to be renamed Afterpay Arena) on Sunday, September 20.
Following record crowds and one of the loudest Finals atmospheres in club history during the championship run, the Kings are expecting strong demand across memberships and all home games throughout NBL27.

Championship Banner Raising locked in for September 20
The Kings will officially raise the club’s sixth championship banner when the team opens its home schedule at Qudos Bank Arena on Sunday September 20 against the Taipans.
The afternoon will celebrate the players and the fans that helped deliver another title to Sydney.
Because banners aren’t raised alone.
More value for members at Qudos Bank Arena
The Kings will play 14 home games at Qudos Bank Arena throughout NBL27, with every Qudos Bank Arena game included in membership packages except the club’s highly anticipated Christmas Day fixture.
The schedule delivers a strong outcome for members, with a mix of premium timeslots, school holiday fixtures and major rivalry games spread across the season.
Membership renewals are now open, with members receiving priority access to secure their seats for another season chasing a championship.
School holiday basketball returns with Ignite Cup clashes
The Kings’ Ignite Cup schedule will feature two school holiday fixtures on Wednesday, September 30 against Brisbane Bullets and Wednesday, October 14 against New Zealand Breakers.
The September 30 game at Qudos Bank Arena shapes as one of the standout family events of the early season, while the October 14 fixture will take the Kings regionally as the club continues strengthening its connection with fans beyond Sydney.
Kings heading to Canberra for regional games
The Kings will again take home games on the road during NBL27, with regional fixtures scheduled for October 14 and December 17 in Canberra.
The regional games continue the club’s commitment to growing basketball across New South Wales and the ACT while giving fans outside Sydney the opportunity to experience Kings basketball live.
Christmas Day and Pink Hoops headline festive schedule
One of the marquee sporting events on the Australian calendar returns to Sydney when the Kings host their annual Christmas Day clash at Qudos Bank Arena.
The Christmas Day fixture against the Hawks creates a strong experience for families and fans as basketball again takes centre stage on one of the biggest sporting days of the year.
The club’s popular Pink Hoops game will also return in the January school holidays to maximise atmosphere for one of the most important community events on the calendar.
Rivalries reignited
Kings fans will again be treated to multiple marquee rivalry clashes throughout NBL27, including highly anticipated matchups against the Illawarra Hawks and Adelaide 36ers.
The rivalry with the Hawks continues to build following both clubs’ strong recent form, while the home clash with Adelaide on Sunday, 11 October is expected to draw major attention as the decider rematch.
