The Brydens Lawyers Sydney Kings are excited to announce the extension of their partnership with Zone 34 Physiotherapy.
After joining the Club for the 2019-20 NBL season, Zone 34 have become an integral part of the Kings on-court success, and have recommitted to keeping the team in pristine condition heading into the new year.
Zone 34 are a physiotherapy clinic committed to providing high performance sports medicine and sports science services to their clients. Their physiotherapists have experience in the sports field having worked in both private practice and with sports teams for a number of years.
David Hillard who is the Director of Zone 34, is also the Head Physiotherapist for the Sydney Kings and Head of Medical Services for the Australian Boomers; he brings with him a wealth of knowledge and expertise having worked with Australia’s top basketball players all across the world.
It was a commitment made in 2019 by the Club’s new ownership group TSE - that the Kings would develop one of the best and most respected High Performance programs in the NBL - and this stemmed from bringing in people like Dave and Zone 34 to help craft the program.
Sydney Kings CEO Chris Pongrass was keen to bring back the services of Zone 34 for the future.
“Dave and his team at Zone34 have been a critical piece in maintaining our players at peak performance. They work closely with Toby Banfield, our Head of Performance, and the individual players, to create a program that is suited to their body type and goals for the upcoming season.”
“We understand this will be a challenging year – a long off-season, a condensed game schedule, shortened roster sizes – so the need to keep our players healthy and on the court is only heightened. We couldn’t be more thrilled to keep Dave and his team part of the Kings family for another year.” Pongrass said.
After a long off-season, Director of Zone 34 David Hillard is looking forward to re-joining the team and seeing them back out on the court.
“Zone 34 is excited to return as part of the Sydney Kings Performance team for the 2020-21 NBL season”.
“The values of our clinic match perfectly with the club culture prioritising the performance and wellbeing of our players. We are looking forward to working behind the scenes to help the team succeed, and our staff and families can’t wait to be back in the stands supporting the team” Hillard said.
