The Sydney Kings will be looking to finish their pre-season preparations on a high note this Friday when they battle the New Zealand Breakers at the NBL Blitz.
The Hoops Capital side head into their final match on the Gold Coast having split their previous two against Cairns and South East Melbourne.
One of the stars of the latter match was Kings' Alex Toohey, who scored a team-high 26 points, to go along with his three rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block.

While the NBL Next Star is happy with the stat line, he'd rather it come in a win, but he knows his team learnt plenty from the result.
"[Personally, I felt good after missing that first game with the boys," the Canberra junior said.
"I had a couple of good training days leading into the Phoenix game and was rewarded with a solid performance, although the team result wasn't exactly what we had hoped.
"I'm confident we're heading in the right direction though - after a super intense pre-season under all the coaches, all of us are excited to play in this system with a high defensive intensity and offensive pace."

Friday's fixture at the Gold Coast Sports and Leisure Centre matches the purple and gold up against the Breakers for the third time this pre-season, with the Kings winning the first two easily.
"[On Friday] we need to match the level of intensity we had in the first half against South East for the whole game," the NBL Next Star said.
"If we do that and stick to our roles and game plan, I'm confident we can win on Friday, although we're all expecting a tougher Breakers team than we've seen already this pre-season."
But Toohey expects a stronger challenge come 7.30pm Friday.
