Toohey unveiled as Golden State Warrior

Sydney Kings #240 was officially unveiled as a Golden State Warrior during Sunday's welcome press conference.
The NBL Next Star, whom the Warriors drafted with the 52nd pick, was unveiled alongside fellow draftee Will Richard for the first time to Golden State's fans and media representatives.
Warriors general manager Mike Dunleavy believes Toohey will be a 'great-fit' with his organisation, after two solid seasons in the NBL with the Hoops Capital club.

"It [the NBL] is a good league," said Dunleavy during his media availability.
"It's a mature league — you get physical adult play.
"You feel like if a young player can play in that league, a lot of things are going to translate to the NBA."
Toohey averaged 10.6 points, 4.0 rebounds, 1.4 assists, 1.4 steals and 0.8 blocks per game this past season.
What stood out most to Dunleavy was Toohey's positional versatility, especially on the defensive end.
"Within our system, he [Toohey] has the versatility to play multiple positions," Dunleavy said.
"Especially on the defensive end, he creates a lot of plays.
"With Draymond [Green], Jimmy [Butler III], Brandin [Podziemski], guys that can disrupt, this guy fits in that mould."

Dunleavy tempered the expectations for the two later draftees as he's done in the past, but admitted that others he drafted in previous years — Trayce Jackson-Davis and Quinten Post — had cracked the rotation much earlier than he anticipated.
He believes the upcoming free agency will go a long way in determining if Toohey and/or Richard receive a standard roster spot, two-way contract, or spend more time with the G League affiliate in Santa Cruz.
