Sydney Kings' NBL Next Star Alex Toohey turned plenty of heads in his club debut during Monday's Blitz fixture with South East Melbourne on the Gold Coast.
The 19-year-old tallied 12 points, four rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block in the Kings' 93-86 loss to the Phoenix - highlighting the all-around talent he possesses.

"It [Monday] was a great first hit-out with the guys - we unfortunately didn't get the result but I felt good out there," said the forward.
"Personally, I felt I played okay offensively and could have done more but was proud of how I played defensively.
"As a group, we showed 30 minutes of great basketball, which were combined with a few lapses but overall, there were plenty of positives and learnings to take from the game."

The Canberra-born talent and his Hoops Capital team will look to rebound quickly when they battle Melbourne United from 7.30pm AEST at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre.
"[Heading into the game] we've done plenty of work on the scout while also reflecting on areas of our game we need to work on from the loss to South East Melbourne," the Centre of Excellence product said.
"We know Melbourne are a physical team, so we have to be ready for that up and in defensive pressure.
"If we stay together as a team and continue to focus on getting better every time we step on the court, I know we will get the right result."
