Just days after being named at spot 35 in Jonathan Givony's 2025 NBA Draft rankings for ESPN, Sydney Kings' Alex Toohey has now been ranked even higher by The Athletic.
Draft analyst Sam Vecenie, who Kings Media interviewed during the pre-season, has placed King #240 Toohey at spot 24 in his latest NBA mock draft.

This spot, which has Toohey landing in Brooklyn via Milwaukee, is four positions below fellow NBL Next Star Rocco Zikarksy from the Brisbane Bullets.
Other NBL talents to feature in Vecenie's mock draft include Perth's Izan Almansa (51) and Ben Henshall (57), South East Melbourne's Malique Lewis (76) and Illawarra's Lachlan Olbrich (86).
Toohey will look to continue his push up the rankings during the Hoops Capital side's round four fixtures against Adelaide and Cairns - with tickets to the latter at Qudos Bank Arena still available here.
