Sydney Kings brings NBL Finals fever to Bondi Beach

The Sydney Kings will take the NBL Finals to one of Australia’s most iconic locations this week, installing a pop-up half court at Bondi Beach. The court will come to life outside Bondi Surf Lifesaving Club, giving locals and visitors the chance to shoot hoops, win prizes, and experience the energy building around the Kings’ finals campaign.
The activation follows the Kings securing the minor premiership and launching their “Banners Aren’t Raised Alone” campaign, a call for Sydney to get behind its team as they chase another championship.
Fans will have the opportunity to meet Kings players, take photos, and speak with membership staff about securing tickets for upcoming home finals games.
Across the two days, kids will also take centre stage with Hoops Capital Academy hosting skills sessions and contests, with prizes to be won.
The Bondi takeover is designed to bring finals closer to the community and build momentum across Sydney ahead of the postseason.
