The reigning NBL Champions, Sydney Kings are bringing the Championship Trophy, the entire playing squad and more than $8,000 worth of prizes to the Central Coast this month as part of the Harvey Norman Regional Roadshow.
Basketball fans will have the chance to meet their favourite Kings players, collect autographs, snap a photo with the NBL Championship Trophy and win exclusive prizes when the team visits Harvey Norman Erina on Saturday, August 22.
The free community event will run from 11am to 12pm, with the full Sydney Kings squad and coaching staff in attendance.
Fans can also get their hands on a limited-edition Sydney Kings team poster, created exclusively for the Regional Roadshow, to have signed by the players.
Fans attending Harvey Norman Erina can look forward to:
- Meeting the Sydney Kings playing squad and coaches
- Photos with the NBL Championship Trophy
- Player autograph session
- Exclusive limited-edition team poster
- More than $8,000 worth of prizes to be won
The Harvey Norman Regional Roadshow supported by AAMI will conclude with the public appearance at Harvey Norman Erina on Saturday, August 22 from 11am to 12pm. Fans are encouraged to arrive early.
While the public appearance is the highlight of the three-day visit, the Kings will also spend time investing in the local basketball community through a series of school clinics, junior development sessions and a coaches' workshop facilitated by NBL Coach of the Year and Kings’ Head Coach, Brian Goorjian.
Hoops Capital CEO Mark Thompson said the Regional Roadshow reflects the club's commitment to connecting with communities beyond Sydney.
"The Central Coast has always been an important basketball region, and we're excited to bring the team directly to our fans.
"Our partnership with Harvey Norman allows us to create experiences like this, where families can meet the players, celebrate our championship success and inspire the next generation of basketballers.
"Whether you're a lifelong Kings supporter or you've never been to an NBL game before, we'd love to see everyone at Harvey Norman Erina."
As part of the tour, the Kings will visit Central Coast Adventist School for clinics with local students, deliver a development session with Central Coast Basketball Association and host a dedicated coaching workshop for local coaches before wrapping up the roadshow with the public event.
Harvey Norman's continued support of the Sydney Kings has helped deliver community initiatives across New South Wales, creating more opportunities for fans to engage with the club beyond game day.
