Star imports Jaylen Adams and RJ Hunter will make their return for this week’s Round 7 Kings games.
Adams returns from a sprained ankle sustained in early December. The former NBA point guard only played in the opening game of the season, where he played a starring role in the win over Melbourne United registering 15 points, eight rebounds and three assists.
RJ Hunter will return after being given time to rehabilitate ongoing knee soreness.

Hunter has only taken the court in two games this season due to the issue, playing 20 minutes for 12 points and six rebounds in the opening game against Melbourne United. He played only 11 minutes in the game against United on December 16 before a decision was made to give him time to rehabilitate his knee soreness.
Both Hunter and Adams will play against the Hawks on Thursday night ahead of a home game against the New Zealand Breakers at Qudos Bank Arena on Sunday.
The Kings will be without rookie point guard Biwali Bayles after he sustained a right ankle sprain during the Boxing Day clash against Melbourne United.
Biwali is expected to return early in February although the injury will be reviewed regularly.
A timeline for the return of Makur Maker (left ankle bone soreness) will be made in the near future.
Both Angus Glover and Iggy Mitchell will not play in Wollongong against the Hawks due to COVID health and safety protocols.
