Record crowd witness biggest ever Pink Hoops

The Sydney Kings and Flames broke plenty of records during Sunday's Pink Hoops double-header at Qudos Bank Arena.
The 16,705 fans in the venue, for the Kings' win over Tasmania, represented the biggest NBL crowd since game five of the 2022-23 grand final series and the Kings' biggest regular season game since 2018.
Not only that, it was the fifth-largest crowd in NBL and franchise history.
While the Flames' crowd of 4,205, for their win over Adelaide, marked the competition's largest crowd this season.
In terms of play milestones, it was a day to remember for King #237 Kouat Noi;
- Noi’s career-high 32 points on Sunday equalled the most points ever scored by a Sydney player coming off the bench in a game (Jaylen Adams had 32 off the bench in round 12 this season against the Brisbane Bullets).
- Noi is averaging 22.6 points per game over his past five games – the highest scoring average by a Kings bench player in franchise history over a five-game stretch.
- Noi is currently averaging 14.3 points per game for the season. If that average holds, it will be the highest scoring average over the course of a season by a Kings player in franchise history (current record held by Dontaye Draper (13.6ppg) during the 200-08 season).
- Noi made 18 free throws against Tasmania, the most free throws made in a single game by a Kings player in franchise history (the previous record was 17 by Jaylen Adams against South East Melbourne Phoenix in round 15 this season).
- Noi attempted 19 free throws against Tasmania, the most free throws attempted in a single game by a Kings player in franchise history (previous record of 18, held by five players – Dwayne McClain (1992), Bruce Bolden (1995), Matthew Nielsen (2001/2002), CJ Bruton (2003/2004) and Jaylen Adams (NBL25)).

Other notable player milestones across the Kings and Flames were;
- Xavier Cooks jumped into third place all-time in total rebounds in franchise history (has 1018), going past Dean Uthoff (1013).
- Jaylen Adams jumped into eighth place all-time in franchise history in assists (has 428), going past Dwayne McClain (423).
- Cayla George moved up to ninth place on the WNBL’s all-time three-pointers made list, overtaking Kelly Wilson (416 three-pointers made). George increased her career tally to 417 with her first triple against Adelaide on Sunday.
