Sydney Kings forward Kouat Noi and his USC Rip City have fallen at the final hurdle in this season's NBL1 North competition, losing their decider to the Gold Coast Rollers.
Without Noi in the line-up, USC went down 101-86 in game one of the best of three series.

But Newcastle product returned to the lineup on Saturday at Carrara Stadium, to help keep USC's title hopes intact.
Despite 18 points, 12 rebounds, four assists, one steal and one block from the competition's inaugural MVP, USC was no match for the hosts, who won game two 118-71, to wrap up the series 2-0 and book their spot at next month's NBL1 national finals in Melbourne.
