While the Sydney Kings' home-heavy schedule didn't tip off in the fashion they had hoped, after losing to Illawarra on Christmas night, the team knows how important it is to the winner's circle as soon as possible
Just ask forward Kouat Noi.
"We need a win [on Friday] and have to do whatever it takes to make that happen," Noi said.
The Newcastle product has been one of the Hoops Capital side's best since returning from injury against New Zealand.
"[I've] picked up where I left off, it feels like I haven’t missed a beat honestly," said King #237.

Despite the current two-game skid, the Hoops Capital side is on, the Texas Christian University alum explained how the Kings intend to restart their move up the table - on what is set to be a huge day of basketball qt Qudos Bank Arena with the Flames taking on Townville prior to the round 13 NBL fixture.
"Sticking to the game plan the coaches are putting together and executing on the night against Cairns [will get us the win]," the former Taipan said.
"[All the Hoops Capital double-headers] are major for promoting basketball in Sydney - the more fans the better."
The hoops extravaganza for the harbour city sides tips off at 5.15pm AEDT with the WNBL, before the NBL at 7.15pm - with tickets still available here.
