Noi powers USC into NBL1 North decider

Sydney Kings recruit Kouat Noi continued his extraordinary NBL1 season on Saturday, by steering his USC Rip City side to an impressive quarter-final win against Cairns.
Noi, who was recently crowned NBL1 North MVP, tallied 32 points,19 rebounds, three assists and two steals as Rip City downed the Marlins 90-63 at USC Sports Stadium.

This victory puts Noi's USC into the first-ever NBL1 North decider, where they'll travel to Carrara Stadium and play a best-of-three series against the Gold Coast Rollers, who downed Northside 108-85 in the other semi-final.

Moving south and in the NBL1 East competition, Kings' Ignatius Mitchell and his Norths Bears lost their elimination final 94-82 to the Illawarra Hawks at the Snakepit.
In the defeat, guard Mitchell posted 21 points, eight boards, two dimes and two blocks.
