Noi finishes fifth in NBL1 East's MVP voting

Sydney King #237 Kouat Noi has finished fifth in NBL1 East's MVP voting for the 2025 season.
The competition recently announced that the South Sudanese international, who is averaging 19.3 points, 6.8 rebounds and 1.2 steals for the Sutherland Sharks, secured the top five honour via their social channels.
Finishing ahead of Noi were Norths' Hunter Goodrick, Illawarra's Todd Blanchfield, Bankstown's Jason Cadee and Canberra's Will Mayfield.

Upon reflecting on his debut season with the Sharks, the reigning NBL Sixth Man of the Year said he has thoroughly enjoyed his time in the East conference.
"It's been great [playing in the East] - I've enjoyed every moment competing against high-level competition every week," Noi said.
"It has prepared me to have another great season in the NBL."

Noi and his Sharks, also featuring Jason Spurgin and Shaun Roger, will look to continue their season and clinch a spot in the 2025 grand final, when they travel to Canberra on Saturday.
