NBL1 South recognition for Sydney pair

Sydney pair Dejan Vasiljevic and Keely Froling have been recognised for their strong NBL1 South seasons, by being respectively named in the men's and women's All Star Fives.
Unveiled at the NBL1 South awards presentation on Friday in Melbourne, Kings guard was named among the All Star Five thanks to averages of 26 points, 7.64 rebounds, 4.64 assists and 1.18 steals across his 11 matches with Diamond Valley.

Joining him on the 2022 squad are Hobart's Harry Froling, Mount Gambier's Michael Harris, Bendigo's Kuany Kuany and Sandringham's Shae Ili - who also took out the MVP award.

Not to be outdone was Flames star Froling, who was named to the Women's All Star Five alongside sister and competition MVP Alicia Froling (Knox), Alice Kunex (Nunawading), Tess Madgen (Bendigo) and Mareena Whittle (Ringwood).
Froling earned her spot on the back of league-leading points (29.57) and rebound (14.24) numbers, during the regular season.
