Sydney Kings fans better move fast to secure their seats for Game 3 of the Championship Series, with more than 14,000 tickets already snapped up ahead of the potential decider at Qudos Bank Arena.
With the series set to shift back to Sydney, fans look to lock in their place for what could be the biggest night of the season on Sunday, 29 March.
Sydney Kings CEO Mark Thompson said the speed of sales reflects the connection between the team and the fans right now.
“It’s been building all season, and this is the moment,” Thompson said.
“Our message to fans is simple; if you want to be there, don’t wait.
“This team is delivering something special, and the atmosphere inside Qudos Bank Arena has become a huge part of that.”
That atmosphere has already proven to be a decisive factor throughout the finals, with the Kings feeding off the energy of a packed home crowd.
In Game 1 of the series, more than 13,000 fans created a wall of noise that helped lift the Kings to their statement win over Adelaide 36ers.
Seven-time NBL Coach of the Year Brian Goorjian said the impact of the home crowd cannot be overstated.
“It doesn’t get better than that. It really doesn’t,” Goorjian said.
“I’m making calls on the defensive end and nobody can hear me. It was that loud.”
“They (fans) were very, very effective for us.”
The energy inside Qudos Bank Arena has become a defining feature of the Kings’ finals run, with the game day experience reaching new levels as the stakes rise.
As NBL's Felix von Hofe described pre-game ahead of Game 1 of the Championship Series, the atmosphere was already building long before tip-off.
“You can feel the energy in this building right now… it’s palpable,” von Hofe said.
“This is NBA-style Hollywood.”
With Game 3 shaping as a potential Championship decider, anticipation is only expected to grow.
Tickets remain available, but with sales tracking quickly and premium categories already limited, fans are encouraged to secure their seats now before they miss out.
