Memberships for Kings' NBL24 season selling out fast

Sydney Kings' memberships for the NBL24 season are selling out fast, with 91 per cent of all packages sold out for the upcoming campaign.

After the Hoops Capital club announced they'd sold out all full-season memberships earlier this month, the Kings' partial membership has proved just as popular - highlighted by a record sales day last Friday.

As a result, just under 10 per cent of all available memberships for the harbour city club remain available, ahead of the purple and gold's quest for a third straight NBL championship.

"We are incredibly grateful for the response from existing members and the interest from new members," said Kings chairman and co-owner Paul Smith.

"This is unprecedented demand, particularly with more than 100 days till our first home game of NBL24."

Smith went on to encourage all Kings fans to secure their membership now before they all run out.

"We will sell out of all current membership allocations," he said.

"Of course, regular tickets will be available, going on sale in early July, but memberships are both great value and a statement of your support for the Sydney Kings."

This response by members, as well as the NBL23 grand final crowds and growing participation numbers of players in Sydney, emphasise why the harbour city really is the Hoops Capital of Australia.

"The Hoops Capital is really something that our fans embrace and rally around," Smith said.

"Ultimately there is a clear belief that our club is heading in the right direction, and we will continue to grow basketball in Sydney and New South Wales for that matter."
